Biography

2013: Started at tight end for the second straight season playing all 10 games … made 14 receptions on the year with two touchdowns … caught his first career TD in the win over Dordt College on Oct. 19 … had a 19-yard touchdown catch in the final game of the year versus Hastings for the longest reception of the year … was a key blocker on the edge for the running game.

2012: Won the starting tight end job in fall camp and started all 10 games at tight end … had six receptions on the season … was a primary blocker in the NWU rush game … caught a long pass of 29 yards against Northwestern … five of his six receptions resulted in first downs … moved to tight end after playing defense as a freshman.

Academic: Exercise Science major.

In High School: An All-State selection in football at Ord High School … First-Team All-State as a junior and honorable mention as a senior … a three-year starter … three-time All-District … led the Chanticleers to a second round playoff appearance … averaged 46.2 yards per punt as a junior … also a two-time All-State honorable mention selection in basketball … named Academic All-State in football, basketball and track.
