Biography

2014: A starter on the NWU offensive line as a junior … started eight games at center for the Prairie Wolves … played in all 10 games in 2014 to earn his second varsity letter … was named a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete for the second straight year.

2013: Earned his first varsity letter as a sophomore … played in six games as a reserve offensive lineman … can play multiple positions along the offensive line … appeared in the NWU offensive packages with extra lineman … named a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

Academic: Business administration major.

In High School: An All-State honorable mention selection as a senior at Platteview HS … a two-time All-District and All-Conference honoree … named All-Omaha Area … a two-year starter on the offensive line … helped the Trojans to the Class CI State Runner-up finish in 2011 … allowed just one quarterback sack in 23 starts … a two-time Academic All-Conference selection … a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 9/3/1993, son of Mike and Lori Smith … younger brother Ben Smith is a freshman on the NWU football team.
