Biography

2021: Start of his season was delayed due to injury... the NWU captain played in 6 games for the Prairie Wolves... recorded 55 total tackles including 27 solo tackles... best statistical game of the season came against Dubuque on Oct. 9, where he collected 14 total tackles including 7 solos and 3.5 tackles for loss... recorded 1 sack in the game as well.

Spring 2021: Played in the lone game of the Spring season against Central College... recorded 3 tackles in the game against Central College on Apr. 10... Spring season limited to one game due to the COVID-19 Global Health Pandemic

2020: No Fall season due to the COVID-19 Global Health Pandemic.

2019: Team’s leading tackler for second straight season as a starting linebacker … led the American Rivers Conference with 107 total tackles … tied for 21st in NCAA III in tackles per game at 10.7 … selected to Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska team … registered double digit tackle totals in six of ten games … racked up season-high 19 tackles at Central College on Oct. 26 to tie for highest single game total in A-R-C … recorded an interception in win over Illinois College on Sept. 14 … was in on 15 tackles and had an interception versus Coe on Oct. 19 … had a season-high eight solo stops and 13 total tackles in last game of the year against Dubuque.  

2018: Named 2nd-Team American Rivers All-Conference at linebacker … also selected to the All-Nebraska team by the World Herald … ranked 2nd in the A-R-C with 100 total tackles averaging 10.0 per game … ranked 52nd in the nation in tackles per game … also had 3.0 quarterback sacks and an interception … reached double digits in tackles three different times … had season-best 18 total tackles against Coe College on Sept. 29 … posted 15-tackle performances versus both Simpson College and #23 Central College … registered 2.0 quarterback sacks and eight solo tackles in win over Buena Vista … his first career interception was in win over Illinois College week two.

 2017: Played every game at linebacker in his freshman season … got the start at LB in win over Buena Vista on Oct. 21 … had a huge game with two quarterback sacks for a loss of 16 yards against the Beavers … recorded four solo tackles and had a pass breakup in the win … ended the year with 11 total tackles, 10 of which were solo stops … broke up two passes against IIAC champion Wartburg on Nov. 11 … finished with three tackles versus the Knights … had two solo tackles apiece versus Illinois Wesleyan and Coe. 

Academic: Physical Education major.   

In High School: A two-time All-State selection in football at Sedgewick County HS in Colorado … 1st-Team All-State at defensive end and guard as a senior and honorable mention as a junior … led the Cougars to the 2015 and 2016 Colorado 8-Man State Championships … also a two-time All-Conference pick … finished career with 168 tackles, 14 sacks and 17.5 TFLs … a four-year letterwinner and three year starter in football … also lettered four times in both baseball and basketball .. member of National Honor Society.
