Will Lawrence was named the program's defensive coordinator ahead of the 2024 season.
Lawrence had worked as the defensive coordinator at West Hills College before moving to Lincoln. In 2022, Lawrence assisted West Hills College in capturing the Golden Coast Conference title. In his first season Lawrence coached the black and gold to 4-1 by mid-season
Lawrence, who is now in his eighth season as a coach, has had previous positions at Graceland University, West Hills College, and Missouri Valley College. Lawrence is in his fourth season as a defensive coordinator in 2023, and he previously held the title of strength and conditioning coordinator at Graceland.
