Mike Johnson begins his second season as an assistant football coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. Johnson will serve as the defensive line coach for the Prairie Wolves defense.
Johnson comes to NWU from Waverly High School where he has served as the head coach for the past 15 seasons. He has 36 years of high school coaching experience with stops at Waverly (15 years), Goodland, Kansas (12 year), Giltner (4 years) and Grant (4 years).
Johnson and his wife Rachelle have one daughter Danielle.
