Dave Watenpaugh is back for his second stint as an assistant coach for the Nebraska Wesleyan football team. Watenpaugh will coach the tight ends in 2017. He coached at NWU for nine seasons from 1997-2005, working with the wide receivers.
Watenpaugh was a four-year starter and letterwinner at tight end at the University of Nebraska-Kearney from 1992-95. He graduated from UNK with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Dave and his wife, Staci, have a son, Garrett, and a daughter, Mackenzie.
