Former Nebraska Wesleyan football player Corey Jones begins his second season as an assistant football coach at his alma mater. Jones will once again coach the slot receivers in the Prairie Wolves offense.
Jones, a four-year letterwinner at slot for the Prairie Wolves from 2012-15, finished his career with 71 receptions. He was also a member of the NWU track & field team as a sprinter.
Jones graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. He earned his degree in mathematics from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2016. He is currently a Mathematics teacher at Lincoln High School.
