Former Nebraska Wesleyan football player Corey Jones begins his first season as an assistant football coach at his alma mater. Jones will coach the slot receivers in 2017.
Jones, a four-year letterwinner at slot for the Prairie Wolves from 2012-15, finished his career with 71 receptions. He was also a member of the NWU track & field team as a sprinter.
Jones graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. He earned his degree in mathematics from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2016. He is currently a Mathematics teacher at Lincoln High School.
