2013: Played in six games at running back as a freshman … worked his way onto the field as a backup running back … had at least one carry in all six games he played … ran for two touchdowns in win over Dordt on Oct. 19 … most action came in win over #13 Doane on Oct. 5 … caught four passes for 36 yards against the Tigers … finished season with 39 total rushing yards.

In High School: A three-time honorable mention All-State selection in football … a four-year starter at Freeman HS … team captain for the Falcons as a senior … also three-time All-District and All-Conference in football … as a senior rushed for 885 yards with 23 total TDS … had 6,400 career total yards … set record for rush yards in a games with 266 … led Freeman to three state playoff appearances … a three-time state qualifier in wrestling … was state champion in 2013 … set 12 school records in wrestling … two-time State Qualifier in track & field … state medalist in track … a three-time Academic All-State selection in three different sports.
