2017: Started the first four games of the year at cornerback … missed the final six games with an injury he suffered versus Central on Sept. 23 … ended year with 11 tackles and six pass breakups … registered a team season-high five pass breakups versus Coe on Sept. 16 … had career-high seven total tackles against nationally-ranked Illinois Wesleyan on Sept. 9 … named to the IIAC All-Academic team for a second straight season.

2016: Missed the entire season due to injury … earned a spot on the IIAC All-Academic Team.

2015: Switched positions during the season moving from offense to defense … started one game at cornerback against Dordt … recorded an interception and returned it 39 yards in the 4^th quarter to seal the win over the Defenders … had three total tackles on the year … began the year at wide receiver and also played a lot on NWU special teams … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete winner. 2014: Earned his first varsity letter in football as a freshman … played in six games in

2014 … majority of playing time came on special teams … was used on kickoff and punt cover teams … recorded four total tackles during special teams play.

Academic: Exercise Science major.  

In High School: A three-year letterwinner in football at Platteview HS … earned All-Conference recognition as a senior … helped the Trojans to the C-1 State Runner-up finish in 2011 … named Academic All-State in football … was a three year state qualifier in track & field … also earned two letters in basketball … Academic All-State in track.

Personal: Born 6/28/95, son of David and Tara Granville … older sister Rachael played soccer at NWU from 2011-14.
