Biography

2019: Appeared in nine games as a pitcher to earn his second varsity letter for the Prairie Wolves … was second on the team with a 6.00 ERA in 21.0 innings of work … ended the year 0-1 … starting pitcher in team’s first win of the year vs. Wesleyan on March 15 … pitched 4.1 innings allowing three earned runs with two strikeouts … most effective outing was in relief on April 23 at Buena Vista … did not allow a run and struck out three in 4.0 innings … named to the American Rivers Conference All-Academic team.  

2018: Earned his first varsity letter in baseball as a freshman … made two pitching appearances during the year … first outing threw 3.0 innings versus Central on April 24 … did not allow a run while striking out four … gave up one run in an inning of work at Dubuque on May 4. 

Academic: Accounting major. 

In High School: Class A honorable mention All-State selection in baseball at Fremont HS … a two-year starter … tied school record with five pitching victories as a senior … a four-year letterwinner … helped team to 2017 state tournament … recorded a 2.76 ERA during summer baseball. 

Personal: Born 10/14/98, son of Jeffrey and Jennifer Poulas.
