Justin Van Dyke begins his third season as an assistant baseball coach at his alma mater. He has the title of director of player development and is the outfielders coach.
Van Dyke was a four-year starter and two-time team captain at Nebraska Wesleyan from 2011-14. He was a two-time All-Conference selection earning honorable mention All-GPAC honors as a pitcher in 2012 and 2013. He currently ranks fifth on the NWU baseball career charts for innings pitched.
Van Dyke graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration. Van Dyke's wife, Katie, is also an NWU alum.
A native of Columbus, Neb., Van Dyke attended Columbus High School where he was a three-year starter and two-time All-State honorable mention selection.
