In High School: A two-year starter in baseball at Lincoln East HS … named 1st-Team All-Conference in baseball … played first base and outfield for the Spartans … was named 1st-Team All-City in football … also 1st-Team All-Conference in football … two-year starter for U-Stop Legion baseball team … led team in HR and RBI in both seasons … played at Nebraska State baseball Tournament one season … lettered twice in football at Lincoln East.
