Biography
2019: Competed at the conference championships during the indoor and outdoor season … ran a personal best time in the 10,000 meters to place 11th at the American Rivers outdoor meet … finished 20th in the 5,000 at the A-R-C Indoor Championships … set personal best times in all four events during the indoor season … highest overall placing was fourth in the 5,000 at the NWU-Doane Dual on April 12.
2018: Earned a varsity letter competing in distance events as a sophomore … ran the 10,000 at the IIAC Outdoor Championships and finished 18th overall … competed in four different distance races during outdoor portion of the schedule … ran three distance races indoors … set career best mark running 9:43.59 in the 3,000 at the Concordia Classic.
2017: Participated at the 2017 IIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 5,000 meters … placed 21st in the event … ran the 5,000 meters at five different outdoor events … best time was 16:57.62 at the Prairie Wolf Invite where he placed 5th … also ran the 3,000 and 10,000 meter races during outdoor track … was third in the Mile at the NWU Indoor Open.
Academic: Economics major.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner in track & field at Skyline HS in Colorado … also lettered four years in cross country … ran in two different state cross country meets … participated as an individual in 2015 and on a team in 2012 … an Academic All-State selection.
Personal: Born 8/17/98, son of Matt Falkinburg and Suzy Falkinburg … also a member of NWU men’s cross country team.
