2017: Ended the season as the team’s top hitter with a .362 batting average … started 22 games in his first year with the Prairie Wolves … missed the final 11 games of the year with an injury … started 13 games at shortstop, five at DH and four at third base … had a team-high slugging percentage of .565 … hit three HR with five doubles in 69 at-bats … put together an 11-game hitting streak from March 18-April 8 with 13 total hits … reached base in 12 straight games … had six multi-hit game including a 3-3 performance versus Roger Williams on March 11 … went 2-3 with a HR and double and three RBI in win over Iowa Wesleyan … hit two HR in series against Loras College. 

Academic: Business Administration major.

In High School: Played baseball at West Career and Technical Academy … hit .283 with the Wranglers … named to the Merritt honor roll.

Personal: Born 7/8/95, son of Tim and Sherri Schumacher … transferred to NWU after playing two seasons of baseball at McCook Community College.
