Biography

2018-19: Missed most of his junior season with injury … wrestled three matches on the season … competed at the Don Parker open … was in the NWU lineup for dual versus UW-Eau Claire “B” team.

2017-18: Earned his second straight letter in wrestling … wrestled at 133 pounds … won by fall over a Central College wrestler at the Last Chance Invitational … was in the starting lineup at 141 pounds in dual versus Central on Dec. 7.

2016-17: Earned a spot in the NWU starting lineup, wrestling primarily at 133 pounds … ended the season with a 4-25 overall record … was the only NWU wrestler to take part in all 10 duals, including all eight IIAC duals.

Academic: Exercise Science major.

In High School: A three-time State qualifier in wrestling at Wilber-Clatonia HS … placed sixth at the Nebraska Class C State Meet at 126 pounds as a senior … finished with over 100 career wins … participated in three team state dual championships … a four-time letterwinner in cross country ... member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 9/19/98, son of Pedro Hernandez and Nereyda Zambrano.
