2015: Split time as the starting catcher for the Prairie Wolves in his junior year … started 20 total games, playing in 25 games … batted .254 on the year for his highest season batting average in first three years … threw out 19 runners attempting to steal a base and had a .955 fielding percentage … made four appearances on the mound out of the bullpen … at the plate best offensive game came against Peru State on April 15 going 3-for-4 with an RBI … went a perfect 2-for-2 with two walks and HBP versus Northwestern on March 28.

2014: Was a starting catcher and top relief pitcher in his sophomore season … named All-GPAC honorable mention as a relief pitcher … was also selected 1^st-Team All-Independent … finished 31 with a 3.14 ERA and a save in 11 appearances on the mound … started at catcher in 19 games … threw out nine runners attempting to steal a base … batted .235 on the year with 12 total hits.

2013: Started 12 games at catcher for the Prairie Wolves to earn his first varsity letter … did not commit and error behind the plate with just one passed ball … went 1-3 with a double against Concordia on March 29 … had three total hits on the year.

Academic: Criminal Justice in Society major.

In High School: Played Legion baseball in North Platte … played in the East/West All-Star game … also participated in bowling and soccer earning varsity letters in both sports … a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 5/11/93, son of Richard and Susan McKain … transferred to NWU after three semesters at University of Nebraska.
