LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska Wesleyan University will send six athletes to the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
Three Prairie Wolves qualified on the men's side. Senior Eli Etherton will compete in the 60-meter hurdles after posting a qualifying time of 7.97 seconds, entering the meet seeded sixth. Junior Reed Emsick earned the No. 3 seed in the 800 meters with a time of 1:50.29, while sophomore Sam Clements is seeded sixth in the shot put with a mark of 17.69 meters.
On the women's side, juniors Chloe Mooberry (long jump, 5.71 meters), Emmilly Berglund (shot put, 14.02 meters) and Kaelyn Means (weight throw, 17.16 meters) will represent Nebraska Wesleyan.
Competition begins Friday with Means competing at 3 p.m. and Mooberry at 3:30 p.m. Etherton (1:45 p.m.) and Emsick (4 p.m.) will run in preliminary heats Friday with hopes of advancing to Saturday's finals. Clements will compete in the men's shot put Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by Berglund in the women's shot put at 2 p.m.
