Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball will begin the home stretch of its 2025-26 with a pair of games against Simpson and Wartburg this weekend. 

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson will tip off at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 4th at P.H. Cowles Fieldhouse, in Indianola, Iowa. ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan was dealt two tough losses last week and looks to get back in the win column. The Prairie Wolves hold a 4-16 overall record and sit at 1-10 in the American Rivers Conference. The Black and Gold score 57.5 points per game and allow 69.9 points per game. The Prairie Wolves hold a 35.9 shooting percentage and have made 29.7% of their three point attempts. Anastyn Pettlon continued her stellar sophomore campaign last week, reaching double figures for the 12th and 13th times this season. Pettlon averages 13 points per contest and leads NWU with 49 made three point shots. Peyton Tritz and Brynn Sebek are tied for second in points per game at 9.8 a piece. Both players contribute to the offense in multiple ways with Tritz posting a team best 58 assists, while Sebek ranks second on the team with 37 made threes. Defensively, Maddie Demke continues to be a standout defender with 40 steals, while Carney Black has posted 12 blocks. Black is also aggressive on the boards, totaling 8.3 rebounds per game.

SCOUTING SIMPSON
Simpson enters Wednesday 10-9 overall and 6-4 in the American Rivers Conference. The Storm were defeated in by Luther, 85-76, in their last game. Simpson averages 68.9 points per game and allows 64.5 points per game. Simpson is led by Brian Niemuth, in his 39th season.

Wednesday marks the 32nd meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson. The Storm hold a 27-4 all-time series lead, which includes a 61-40 win earlier this season.

SCOUTING WARTBURG
Wartburg enters this week 14-6 overall and 10-1 in the American Rivers Conference. Prior to facing NWU, Wartburg will host Dubuque on Wednesday, February 4th. The Knights average 64.7 points per game and allow 53.4 points per game. Wartburg is led by Bob Amsberry, in his 20th season.
