Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball will begin a three game home stand with games against Simpson and Dubuque this week. 

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan will face Simpson at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, January 7th. The Prairie Wolves will take on Dubuque at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10th. Both games will be played at Snyder Arena, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nebraska Wesleyan will live stream the game and carry live stats. 

ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan has lost three straight since a school record 117-54 victory over Kansas Christian. The Prairie Wolves are 3-10 overall and 0-4 in A-R-C play. NWU averages 61.4 points per game and shoots 37.6% from the floor. This includes a 29% mark from beyond the arc. Additionally, the Black and Gold hold a 64.8 free throw percentage. Peyton Tritz makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor, putting up 11.2 points per game while leading the team with 35 assists. Brynn Sebek ranks third on the team, averaging 10.1 points per game. Carney Black plays tough down low, posting 102 rebounds and blocking 10 shots. 

FINDING HER GROOVE
Anastyn Pettlon has grown into a star in her first year at Nebraska Wesleyan. The Northwest Missouri State transfer has reached double figures in nine of the team's 13 games. This includes a career high 25 points in NWU's 86-76 win over Graceland, and a 24 point outburst against Kansas Christian. 

SCOUTING SIMPSON
Simpson enters Wednesday 6-6 overall and 2-1 in A-R-C play. The Strom fell to Luther in their last game. The Storm average 70.1 points per game and allow 67.3 points per game. Simpson is led by Brian Niemuth, in his 39th season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST SIMPSON
Wednesday marks the 30th meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson. The Storm hold a 25-4 all-time series lead.

SCOUTING DUBUQUE
Dubuque enters this week on a three game losing streak and sits at 4-8 overall, but holds a 2-1 record in A-R-C play. The Spartans will face Wartburg at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th. Dubuque scores 56.3 points per game and allows 67.1 points per game. The Spartans are led by Madeline Jansen, in her first season.
