Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer looks to bounce back from a loss to Loras against Simpson College on Saturday.

Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 4th, at Bill Buxton Stadium, in Indianola, Iowa. Simpson College will live stream the game and carry live stats.

A LOOK AT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters Saturday seeking to right wrongs from a disappointing conference opening 6-0 loss to Loras. Despite being shut out, Nebraska Wesleyan holds a high octane offense that has scored four or more goals in three matches, while averaging two goals per game. The Black and Gold are relentless on offense and make their shots count with 68 of 113 shots (60.2%) being shots on goal. Averie Hike has been Nebraska Wesleyan's top offensive playmaker, having recorded 15 points, while scoring six goals and adding three assists. However, its not just Hike that defenses need to pay attention to, Emily Abeyta is having a stellar freshman campaign, with four goals and one assist. Defensively, NWU allows 2.33 goals per game. Simpson College has won their last two matches by a combined score of 8-2, which includes a 3-1 victory over Coe in their conference opener. The Storm average 2.10 goals per game and have taken 203 shots. Defensively, Simpson allows 1.30 goals per game, with four shut outs.
