Cedar Rapids, IA (April 28th, 2025) - Track and Field's Colin Wojtkiewicz was named the American Rivers Conference Male Athlete of the Week in a press release by the American Rivers Conference, Monday. Wojtkiewicz also earned Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors. 

Colin Wojtkiewicz set a new personal best and school record when he launched a 59.22 meter (194' 3'') hammer throw at the Prairie Wolf Invite, Saturday afternoon. His throw marks a three foot improvement from his previous best and ranks him number nine on the national charts. His throw currently puts him in second on the American Rivers Conference performance list behind Dubuque's Lucas Cummings.

Wojtkiewicz will next compete at the Friday-Saturday USD Tune-Up in Vermillion, South Dakota.
