LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan's Jack Groeteke was named to the 2024-25 Omaha World-Herald All-Midlands Team, the publication announced Tuesday. Teammates Carter Glenn and Conner Brown received honorable mention recognition.
Groeteke, a 6-11 senior forward, anchored the Prairie Wolves on both ends of the floor. He averaged 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 49.3% from the field, leading the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) in blocks. Groeteke had a 18 point, 13 rebound double-double against Wisconsin La-Crosse this season.
Glenn, a senior guard, posted 13.4 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.0 steals per game, shooting 33.0% from three. Brown, a senior wing, added 9.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest while hitting 76.6% of his free throws. Both were key in NWU's 20-7 season and A-R-C Tournament final run.
The All-Midlands Team honors the top players from Nebraska's non-Division I programs.
