SPRING HILL, Kan. – The Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf team tied for fourth place at the Capra Invitational, hosted by Rockhurst at Sycamore Ridge Golf Club on Thursday and Friday. The Prairie Wolves finished with a two-round total of 48-over par (304-320—624) in a field of 10 teams.
Jacob Cosimano led the Prairie Wolves, tying for 10th individually with a 10-over par (75-79—154). Travis Tilford followed closely, tying for 14th at 12-over par (79-77—156). Jaiden Ronke (82-81—163) and Geran Sander (75-83—158) rounded out the team scoring, while Matias Casal (75-87—162) competed as an individual.
William Jewell claimed the team title at 34-over par, followed by Quincy (+36) and Rockhurst (+42). The tournament's second round was marked by challenging wind conditions, contributing to higher scores across the field.
The Prairie Wolves return to action in two weeks at the IWUInvitational in Bloomington, Illinois.
