Lincoln, NE - After a difficult 63-34 loss to Hastings, Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball looks to bounce back against Grinnell and Wartburg this week.

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan and Grinnell will tip off at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 31st at Snyder Arena, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nebraska Wesleyan will live stream the game and carry live stats. ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters this week at 3-8 overall and 0-3 in American Rivers Conference play. The Prairie Wolves average 65.1 points per game and allow 68.7 points per game defensively. Offensively, the Black and Gold shoot 39.1% from the field, while making 31.2% of their three point attempts. NWU has been effective at drawing fouls, taking 187 free throw attempts while shooting 66.8% from the charity stripe. Nebraska Wesleyan has grabbed 98 offensive rebounds and posted 151 assists. Defensively, the Prairie Wolves have allowed opponents to shoot 41.2% from the floor, while taking in 267 rebounds, recording 114 steals, and blocking 21 shots. The Prairie Wolves are led by sophomore Anastyn Pettlon, who averages a team best 14.9 points per game while also posting team bests in made three pointers (29), and steals (26). Peyton Tritz averages 12.4 points per game and has dished out 32 assists. Carney Black proves to be tough down low, averaging 8.5 rebounds per game and blocking nine shots.

Nebraska Wesleyan has four players who have recorded two or more blocks through the first 11 games of the season. The Brigade is led by Carney Black who has posted nine blocked shots. Black has tallied two blocked shots in three games this season, while earning one block in three others. Alison Davis ranks second on the team with four blocks, while Anastyn Pettlon and Caroline Eastman have recorded three and two blocks respectively. 

SCOUTING GRINNELL
Grinnell enters Wednesday 4-7 overall and fell to Ripon 81-56 in their last game. The Pioneers average 59.6 points per game and allow 65.8 points per game. Grinnell is led by Dana Harrold, in her 13th season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST GRINNELL
Wednesday marks the 11th meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Grinnell. The Prairie Wolves hold a 7-3 all-time series lead.

SCOUTING WARTBURG
Wartburg enters this week 4-6 overall and will take on Lake Forest College and Concordia (WI) before facing Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday. The Knights average 61.8 points per game and allow 62.8 points per game. Wartburg is led by Bob Amsberry, in his 20th season.
