Lincoln, NE - After a difficult season opening loss to Wisconsin-Platteville, Nebraska Wesleyan men's basketball looks to rebound at the Central Bank Classic.

CENTRAL BANK CLASSIC
The Central Bank Classic will be played at Siebens Fieldhouse, in Storm Lake, Iowa, with Buena Vista serving as the host. Nebraska Wesleyan will play Minnesota Morris on Friday, November 14th at 5:00 p.m., and the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 p.m.. ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan was defeated by Wisconsin-Platteville, 78-62, in their season opener. Nebraska Wesleyan shot 39.2% from the floor, while making nine of 25 three point attempts. Despite the loss, Christian Winn, Amun Ra Collins, and Neal Mosser each reached double figures, with Winn also leading the team with seven rebounds. As a team, Nebraska Wesleyan brought down 33 rebounds and dished out 20 assists. On defense, Nebraska Wesleyan recorded two blocked shots and four steals. 

HEAD COACH DALE WELLMAN
Dale Wellman is in his 12th season as the head coach of Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Basketball, having led the Prairie Wolves to numerous accomplishments, including a national championship in 2018. Under his guidance, the program has seen five A-R-C Regular Season titles and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Wellman boasts an all-time record of 214-76. 

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Minnesota Morris dropped its season opener, 84-70, to St. Scholastica. Prior to facing NWU, Minnesota Morris fell to Concordia College (Minn.) 74-79 on Wednesday.The Cougars are led by Paul Grove, in his 24th season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST MINNESOTA MORRIS
Friday will mark the third meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Minnesota Morris, with each team winning on of their previous match ups.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
College of St. Scholatica defeated Minnesota Morris, 84-70, in its season opener. Prior to facing NWU, the Saints will battle Buena Vista on Friday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. The Saints are led by Jared Drake, in his first season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST ST. SCHOLASTICA
Saturday will mark the seventh meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and College of St. Scholastics. The Prairie Wolves hold a 4-2 lead in the all-time series.
