COLUMBIA, Mo. (October 21, 2025) – The Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their fall seasons this week at the Columbia College Cougar Fall Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday at Columbia Golf & Country Club. The Prairie Wolves' men's squad capped an impressive fall with a runner-up finish in a 15-team field, while the women placed sixth out of nine teams, showing steady improvement in their final event of 2025.
On the men's side, Nebraska Wesleyan fired rounds of 295 and 298 for a two-day total of 593 (+25), finishing just three strokes behind champion William Woods University (+22). The Prairie Wolves were anchored by a pair of top-three finishes as sophomore Jacob Cosimano (70-75—145, +3) and senior Brayden Schram (73-72—145, +3) each tied for third individually. Consistent play from the lineup carried NWU into contention, with Travis Tilford (77-75—152, +10), Jackson Lapour (75-76—151, +9), and Harrison Weddell (77-78—155, +13) rounding out the scoring. Individually, Jaiden Ronke carded rounds of 77-83 to finish at +18.
For the women, Nebraska Wesleyan showed solid progress across two rounds, improving by nine strokes on day two. The Prairie Wolves posted scores of 385 and 376 for a team total of 761 (+185). O'Brasia Amos led the way with rounds of 92 and 81 to finish at +29 and inside the top 10 individually. She was followed by Haley Blackstone (99-95—194, +50), Delaini Harper (96-97—193, +49), and Lauren Hays (100-103—203, +59), while Shea Merideth represented NWU as an individual. Host Columbia College won the team title at +91, followed by Truman State (+104) and William Woods (+152).
With the Columbia Invitational marking the end of the fall slate, both Prairie Wolf programs will turn their attention toward the spring season.
