HOW IT HAPPENED
The Nebraska Wesleyan cross country teams competed at the highly competitive Greeno/Dirksen Invite on Saturday at Mahoney Golf Course in Lincoln, NE. The men's team finished 19th, while the women's team placed 21st overall.
Sophomore Thomas Vasquez led the men's side for NWU, placing 74th with a time of 26:50.46. The women were paced by Tyrah American Horse, who crossed the line in 110th, posting a time of 20:30.37.
