Keller has led the Prairie Wolves to a share of the 2000 GPAC championship and has coached 39 All-Conference players since the move to Division III in 2016. His legacy includes 46 All-Americans and coaching the program's all-time leading rusher, passer, and receiver.

Nebraska Wesleyan boasts a proud football tradition that dates back to 1896. The Prairie Wolves have won over 500 games, and secured 22 conference championships. Nebraska Wesleyan has also excelled in the classroom, ranking seventh among all football schools in CoSIDA All-Americans.
FIREWORKS EXPECTED?
A reoccurring theme in the two previous games played between Nebraska Wesleyan and Mayville State are that they will high scoring, entertaining, and competitive. In 2022, Mayville State defeated the Prairie Wolves in overtime by a score of 55-48, that game that saw over 1,000 yards of total offense, six lead changes, an four turnovers. Nebraska Wesleyan repayed the favor in 2023, scoring a touchdown to go ahead 33-30, just before the nine minute mark in the fourth quarter. Later in the quarter, after allowing the Mayville State to drive to the NWU 27 yard line with under two minutes to play, the Prairie Wolf defense stood tall and turned the Comets over on downs to secure the win.
ABOUT THE COMETS
Mayville State enters Saturday with a 1-1 record. The Comets were defeated by Dickinson State University in their last game by a score of 31-7. The Comets are coached by Rocky Larson, who is in his fifth season.Â
