Lincoln, Neb. (April 9, 2024)- On Monday, April 8, the Omaha World-Herald released its annual All-Midlands team, which highlights the best Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JUCO players in Nebraska.
Peter Lash was named to the Division III/NAIA first team, while
Carter Glenn and
Jack Groeteke were named honorable mention.
Following a stellar 2023-24 season,
Peter Lash was named to the Omaha World-Herald's Division III/NAIA first team. This season, Lash helped Nebraska Wesleyan win the American Rivers Conference regular season title and reach the Elite Eight. Lash averaged a team high 17.4 points per game, and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Carter Glenn was named an Omaha World-Herald Division III/NAIA honorable mention. This season, Glenn helped Nebraska Wesleyan win the American Rivers Conference regular season title and reach the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA National Tournament. During the season, Glenn averaged 15.7 points per game and led the A-R-C in steals.
Jack Groeteke had a breakout junior season and earned Omaha World-Herald Division III/NAIA honorable mention honors. This season, Groeteke helped Nebraska Wesleyan win the American Rivers Conference regular season title and reach the Elite Eight. Groeteke averaged 11.3 points per game and finished second in the conference in blocked shots.
