LINCOLN, NE – 62 Nebraska Wesleyan University student-athletes were named to the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) All-Academic Team for fall sports, as announced by the conference on Friday.
To qualify for the A-R-C All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with at least one year at their current institution, maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, and be on the eligibility list for their sport.
Nebraska Wesleyan's football team led the way with 18 honorees, followed by men's soccer with ten, women's soccer with eight, and volleyball with seven. The women's golf team earned five spots, tying for the most in the conference, while women's tennis had six honorees, and both men's and women's cross country teams had four each.
