Box Score Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball team fell to 0-14 on the season after suffering a 69-50 loss to the Luther Norse on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter saw Luther jump out to a quick 9-2 lead. The Prairie Wolves responded with a quick 4-0 run of their own before the teams traded baskets on their next few possessions. Luther opened the game up with a late 11-2 run to take a 23-13 after one quarter of play.
- The Norse would extend their lead in the second quarter, out scoring Nebraska Wesleyan 17-11 to take a 40-24 lead into halftime.
- Luther's 16 point lead would hold in the third quarter as both teams scored 12 points.
- Though the Prairie Wolves continued to fight, Luther outscored Nebraska Wesleyan 17-14 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
