LINCOLN, Neb. (January 19, 2024) – On Thursday, January 18, Nebraska Wesleyan University's dedicated baseball and softball student-athletes and coaches kicked off a series of four clinics at the Malone Community Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event marks the beginning of an eight-week initiative designed to introduce the joys of softball and baseball to the community's youth.
Each participant in the inaugural clinic received a glove, a baseball or softball, and a Nebraska Wesleyan University T-shirt. The aim is not only to teach the fundamentals of the sports but also to provide the young athletes with the necessary equipment to continue their exploration and practice beyond the clinics.
The remaining three clinics will unfold over the next eight weeks, providing ongoing opportunities for more youngsters to join and experience the excitement of these sports.
