HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan was defeated by Dordt University (Iowa) 3-1 on Thursday night inside Abel Stadium.
• The Defenders dominated the first period, taking seven of the ten total shots throughout the half. Two of the shots found the back of the net, giving Dordt the advantage at half, 0-2.
• The Prairie Wolves rallied in the second period, as Averie Hike scored her second collegiate goal to cut NWU's deficit to one, 1-2.
• Dordt solidified their victory with a final goal in the last minute of the match, 1-3.
• Goalie Catthi Pham played all ninety minutes, making three saves and allowing all three goals.
