HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Norse mounted an early defensive challenge for the Prairie Wolves by putting one in between the pipes at the 16:31 mark.
- Luther maintained their momentum and found the back of the net for their second goal of the game at the 19:53 mark.
- Pressure from the Norse prevented the Prairie Wolves from generating much offense during the initial 45 minutes. In the first period, NWU made only two shot attempts.
- The strong defensive effort by the Prairie Wolves, coupled with three saves by Zachary Weis, enabled the Black and Gold to maintain a two score disadvantage throughout the rest of the game.
