CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (September 18, 2023) - Freshman football player Anthony Carpenter was named the American Rivers Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week earlier today in the league's weekly award release.

A-R-C FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Carpenter led the Prairie Wolves to an opening conference win over Simpson on Saturday by a score of 21-13. The kick returner had one return for 28 yards. Nebraska Wesleyan is off to their best start since 2019 with a 3-0 mark. The Prairie Wolves will travel to Cedar Rapids to take on RV Coe College on Saturday. The freshman is earning his first-career Special Teams Player of the Week accolade, and Nebraska Wesleyan's first since 2018.
