Women's Soccer Defeated in Final Minutes

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer team lost to Westminster College (MO) Tuesday night, 3-2.
  • The second period was full of offensive moves with all five goals being made in the final 45 minutes.
  • NWU was the first to score with a penalty kick by Amanda Olivas. The Bluejays quickly followed with a score of their own. 
  • The P-Wolves allowed two goals in the last two minutes of the game to give Westminster the win.
  • Despite the loss, the Black and Gold performed well both offensively and defensively.
  • Goalie Jena Schultz made six saves throughout the match.
