HOW IT HAPPENED

• On Friday afternoon, Central College defeated the P-Wolves 5-2, limiting Nebraska Wesleyan to three hits while totaling 10 of their own. 
• The Prairie Wolves' defense started off slow, allowing three runs in the first two innings. After that, Nebraska Wesleyan remained solid, only allowing 2 more runs.
• NWU had runs of their own in the third inning off of a hit by Kaleb Knox and in the eighth inning off a defensive error by the Dutch.
• Despite the loss, starting pitcher Tyson Romero came out strong, totaling 7 strikeouts over 6.0 innings. Reliever Bobby Simmons came in for 2.0 innings, recording 3 hits and 1 strikeout.
