HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The University of Dubuque defeated Nebraska Wesleyan University on Tuesday, 57-72 despite Carter Glenn's 17 points and two rebounds and Peter Lash's 12 points and five rebounds. 

• Despite putting in a notable offensive performance, the Prairie Wolves found themselves trailing for the majority of the game. At the conclusion of the first half, the Black and Gold were behind with a score of 24-38. 

• NWU concluded the game with a 34 percent success rate from the field. Notably, the Black and Gold secured a 16-14 advantage in bench points, further solidifying their overall performance. 

• Jack Groeteke and Carter Glenn kickstarted the second half for the Prairie Wolves with successful baskets, as the Black and Gold defense continued to restrict the Spartans to a 33.33 percent success rate from beyond the three-point line for the duration of the game. 

• Despite the persistent efforts of the Prairie Wolves, the Spartans retained control for a considerable stretch of the second half, securing the 57-72 victory.
