Lincoln, Neb- Nebraska Wesleyan fell to UT Dallas, 63-34, Saturday afternoon. The game was the second of two games at the Tip Off Classic in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The beginning of the game was very competitive as the two teams traded leads throughout the first quarter. UT Dallas scrapped its way to a 14-10 lead before a late three point shot by Nella Castaneda cut the lead to one.
- UT Dallas opened the second quarter by going on a six to nothing run. The Comets would go on to score 14 points in the quarter while holding Nebraska Wesleyan to just four points. UT Dallas led the game at halftime 28-17.
- UT Dallas pulled away in the second half out scoring Nebraska Wesleyan 35-17 and earning a 63-34 victory.
