Football Visits Dubuque in A-R-C Showdown

LINCOLN, Neb.- Following a victory over Luther College, Nebraska Wesleyan hits the road to take on Dubuque.

Kickoff will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7th, at Chalmers Field in Dubuque, Iowa.

MEET THE HEAD COACHES
Brian Keller is in his 28th season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. He has compiled a record of 129-129. 
Stan Zweifel is in his 15th season as the head coach at Dubuque. He has compiled a record of  is 82-55.

WHEN NEBRASKA WESLEYAN HAS THE BALL
Nebraska Wesleyan's offense enters Saturday averaging 22.80 points per game and 367 yards per game. Quarterback Carter Terry enters the game with a 59.06% completion percentage. He has thrown for 1077 yards with seven touchdowns and six interceptions. Joining Terry in the backfield is running back Nathan Athouris.  Through five games, Athouris has rushed for a team high 378 yards on 68 carries. He is currently averaging 5.6 yards per carry and has five rushing touchdowns on the season. Nebraska Wesleyan's offense features two receivers that have over 200 yards receiving. Cole Siems leads the team in receiving yards with 402, receiving touchdowns with four, and receptions with 25. Jaheim Felder has caught 14 passes for 234 yards and has two touchdowns on the season.

WHEN NEBRASKA WESLEYAN IS ON DEFENSE
Nebraska Wesleyan's defense has allowed an average of 23.20 points per game and 372.4 yards per game. Caleb Kyes leads the team in total tackles with 26. Kyes also leads the team in solo tackles with 19. Kyes and Ivan Eloume have both forced one fumble. The Nebraska Wesleyan defense has picked off six passes this season with Aashton Kirkland, Jaydon Tarohocker, Eli Mackowski, Quinn Keller, Max Brinker, and Chevalier Curry each having one interception. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN KICKING GAME
Kevin Starnes will be the starting long snapper. Jahrran Paces will be the holder. Henry Walter will be the starting kicker. Walter had his lone field goal attempt of the season blocked and is 12-16 on PATs. Max Brinker will punt. Through five games games, Brinker has punted 21 times with a long of 71 yards and an average of 37.76 yards per punt. Victor Guzman will return punts. Anthony Carpenter and Cole Quercioli will return kick offs. 

WHEN DUBUQUE HAS THE BALL
Dubuque's offense enters Saturday averaging 24.25 points per game and 424.5 yards per game. Quarterback K.C. Moore enters the game with a 59.84% completion percentage. He has thrown for 909 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Dubuque features two running backs with over 140 yards rushing on the season. Devin Moore has rushed for 192 yards on 31 carries. He is currently averaging 6.1 yards per carry and has scored one rushing touchdown. Kallion Buckner has rushed for 141 yards on 34 carries. He is currently averaging 4.1 yards per carry and has scored one rushing touchdown. Dubuque's offense features two receivers that have over 200 yards receiving. Za'Cameron Brice has caught 31 passes for 443 yards and has two touchdowns on the season. Torre Butts Jr. has caught 23 passes for 268 yards and has one touchdown on the season.

WHEN DUBUQUE IS ON DEFENSE
Dubuque's defense has allowed 35.25 points per game and 453.5 yards per game. CJ Dean leads the team in total tackles with 33. Carter Brock leads the team in solo tackles with 24. Jerome Wilson has forced one forced fumble. The Spartan's defense has picked off four passes this season with Dalton Wood, Trevale Moe, Keion Dunlap, and De'Vaughn Bell each having one interception.

DUBUQUE KICKING GAME
Liam Smith will be the starting kicker. Smith is 1-1 on field goals and is 5-7 on PATs. Conner Halla will be the starting punter. Halla has punted 20 times with a long of 65 yards and an average of 37.30 yards per punt.
