Men's Soccer Ends Season with a Loss Against Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • While the Prairie Wolves' defense effectively prevented the Spartans from scoring in the first half, they were unable to secure a goal of their own. 
  • The Spartans sparked their offensive momentum with a goal at the 51:21 mark. 
  • Zach Weis recorded five saves to hold the Spartans for the remainder of the second half. 
  • Unfortunately, for the remainder of the second half, the Prairie Wolves couldn't manage to score. Resulting in 0-1 final score. 
  • The Black and Gold ended the season with a record of 10-4-4, Nebraska Wesleyan has achieved a double-digit winning season for the first time since 2017, marking the second occurrence in the past 15 years.

  • "We'll eagerly wait to see what happens in the offseason and what happens in recruiting. But all in all, it was a really good year."
