HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan ends their road trip to Minnesota with a 52-63 loss to Martin Luther College. 
• The Knights jumped out to a quick 24-12 lead after the first quarter. MLC shot 60.0% from the field and 75.0% behind the three-point arc. 
• The Prairie Wolves climbed back into things as they outscored Martin Luther College in the second quarter 13-9. Coach Bullock's squad ended the first half on a 6-0 run. 
• Out of the break, both offenses got a handful of baskets to fall. Brianna Denton closed out the third quarter with three-pointer assisted by Avery Halliday, 38-50.
• The black and gold edged the Knights in scoring to close out the game, 14-13, but it was not enough to leave Minnesota with a win. 
• After Wednesday's results, Nebraska Wesleyan falls to 5-7 on the year.
