Box Score HOW IT HAPPENED

• Coe College outlasted Nebraska Wesleyan University, 50-30, Wednesday night inside Snyder Arena.
• Back-to-back Kohawk threes started an 11-0 Coe run to begin the first quarter. The Prairie Wolves' first basket came at the 3:52 mark. Sarah Hultquist drilled a mid-range jumper, assisted by Brianna Denton. 
• The deficit stayed 11 after the first 10 minutes, 4-13.
•  Nebraska Wesleyan headed into the locker room down 10, 11-21. Sarah Hultquist led the black and gold in scoring with four points.
• Despite being down, NWU forced seven first half turnovers compared to Coe's four. The Kohawks held the advantage in the paint scoring 10 of their 21 points inside the marked area.
• Second chance shots and points down low helped Coe extend their lead in the third, 18-39. After 30 minutes of play, the Kohawks doubled the Prairie Wolves in rebounds, 21-43, including 12 offensively. 
• Ellie Bream extended her scoring total to six and trailed teammate, Sarah Hultquist, with seven.
• Nebraska Wesleyan outscored Coe, 12-11 in the fourth quarter, but ran out of time to complete their late comeback, 30-50.
