On Saturday, in Snyder Arena, Nebraska Wesleyan was defeated by Loras College, 43-91.
The Prairie Wolves put the pressure on #22 Loras College early. After the first quarter, the score stayed even at 12 a piece, 12-12. Anna Vandenack led Nebraska Wesleyan with six points and four rebounds.
The Duhawks made quick adjustments and went on a 10-0 run to begin the second quarter. Loras outscored NWU 25-14 and led at halftime, 26-37.
The black and gold were unable to stop the three coming out of the break. The Duhawks hit eight shots from behind the arc and extended their lead to 29. Ellie Bream led Coach Bullock's team with 11 points after the third quarter.
Loras wouldn't hand over their lead and finished things in Snyder Arena with a 48 point victory.
