Women's Soccer Meets UW-Platteville in Neutral Site Game

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • It was a quiet first 45 minutes for both teams. The Pioneers and Prairie Wolves combined for 15 shots, but only one found the net. In the 4th minute, UW-Platteville struck to take the first lead of the game, 0-1. 
  • Coach Dyson decided to give each of her goalkeepers a chance to play. Jena Schultz started the first period, while Alizabeth Sanne started the second. Both women recorded four saves and gave up one goal.
  • NWU's Lauren Keith leveled the score at one a piece with an assist from Hannah Ghannam in the 62nd minute, 1-1.
  • To seal the deal, the Pioneers regained control with a goal in the 71st minute, 1-2.
