• The Prairie Wolves got off to a hot start with baskets by Walker Andrew, Landon Torneten and  Elijah Thatch to take a 9-0 lead
• Illinois Wesleyan got back in the game by shooting 54% from three to take a 38-34 lead into halftime
• At the12:56 mark a Carter Glenn three regained the lead for the Prairie Wolves
• Peter Lash led the Prairie Wolves in scoring with 24 and scored the team's final eight points.
• In the end Illinois Wesleyan never cooled down from behind the arch finishing the game 12-27 from three compared to Nebraska Wesleyan's 7-22.
• Illinois Wesleyan won the game 73-67.
• The Small Ball Classic has offered the Prairie Wolves a chance to see some ranked competition.
