Cobbers Halt Women’s Soccer

MOORHEAD, Minn. (September 12, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer was defeated by Concordia-Moorhead, 2-0, in Moorhead, Minnesota.

A day after unleashing a fury of six goals in a shutout over Minnesota Morris, the Prairie Wolves were held scoreless. The two teams played to a zero-zero draw at halftime. NWU pressured Concordia-Moorhead in the first half with four shots on goal. But the second half, the Cobbers were able to hold Nebraska Wesleyan without a shot on goal as they netted two goals.

Olivia Munroe led the Prairie Wolves with two shots on goal and three total shots. Megan Cooper and Sabrina Ochterbeck each tallied one shot on goal. Leslie Borges was credited with four saves for NWU.
