PELLA, Iowa (April 13, 2021) -The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team (2-4, 2-4 A-R-C) was bested by Central College (2-2-1, 2-2-1 A-R-C), 1-0, on the road at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex Soccer Field in Pella, Iowa. It is the first time this season that NWU has been held scoreless.
NWU played Central to a scoreless draw in the first half. But the Dutch broke the stalemate in the 55th minute on an unassisted goal. Varun Doshi tried to tie the game in the 74th minute for the Prairie Wolves but his shot attempt went left of the goal.
Alex Aguilar led Nebraska Wesleyan with two shot attempts as Doshi and Aroque Bryant each took a shot, with Bryant's shot coming on target. Zachary Selph was credited with four saves in the match.

Nebraska Wesleyan is off until Wednesday, April 21 for the final home game of the 2021 spring season against Simpson College. Match time is set for 7:30 p.m. at Abel Stadium.
