DUBUQUE, Iowa (March 28, 2021) - The Nebraska Wesleyan cheerleading team competed in the fourth annual American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Cheer and Dance Invitational in Dubuque, Iowa. The Prairie Wolves placed second in the Gameday Division.

NWU scored 245 points in the competition, they were narrowly edged out of first place by just 4.5 points. It is the second consecutive year that Nebraska Wesleyan has finished in the top two of the Gameday Division.

The Gold Rush Dance Team was not able to compete in this year's event after having limited practice time to properly prepare to defend their titles in the jazz, hip hop, and pom sections that they won at the 2020 competition.
